As a faith community rooted in the apostolic tradition, we believe that serving others is an essential part of walking in The Way of Christ. Opportunities to Serve
1. Agape Feast & Fest – Feeding the Homeless
Following the early Church’s example, we host Agape Feasts & Fests, where we provide hot meals, clothing, and fellowship to those in need in Augusta, GA. Volunteers are needed to:
✅ Prepare and serve food
✅ Set up and clean up meal areas
✅ Distribute clothing and care packages
✅ Pray and provide encouragement to those we serve
2. Church Operations
Keeping the church running smoothly requires dedicated hands and hearts. Volunteers can help with:
✅ Greeters & Ushers – Welcoming visitors and members
✅ Worship Team – Musicians, singers, and tech support
✅ Children’s Ministry – Teaching and caring for young disciples
✅ Administrative Support – Helping with communications, scheduling, and outreach
3. Missions & Outreach
We are actively expanding The Church of The Way through missions in Pakistan, Liberia, Grenada, Haiti, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Volunteers can help by:
✅ Assisting with fundraising and logistics
✅ Packing and sending resources to mission locations
✅ Praying for and communicating with our mission teams

3️⃣ Attend Training – We provide orientation and resources to equip you for teaching and caregiving.

How do I volunteer with music?

If you have a passion for worship and music, we would love to have you serve in our Worship Team at The Ante-Nicene Church of The Way!

Steps to Join the Worship Team:

1️⃣ Sign Up – Contact us in person, email us, or fill out a volunteer form online.
2️⃣ Share Your Talent – Let us know your musical gifts (singing, instruments, sound tech, etc.).
3️⃣ Attend a Practice – We’ll invite you to a rehearsal to see how you can contribute.
4️⃣ Commit to Serve – Worship team members are scheduled based on availability and commitment.
